Inala University Study Hub

Right here in Inala

We are your local community study hub, run by a team who deeply understands what it’s like to study in tertiary education. We know it’s easier to succeed when you don’t have to do it alone.

Together with students and the wider community, we are building a space where everyone can connect, take charge of their learning, and make it their own.

The Inala University Study Hub is supported by the Australian Government through the Suburban University Study Hubs Program. We are here to help students thrive together, offering tailored support, better access, and pathways in higher education.

Who this hub is for

If you are enrolled with any Australian university, TAFE, or registered training provider, you are welcome here; no matter where you live or study.

We also welcome parents, local businesses, organisations, and community networks who want to connect with students, support their learning, offer placements, or create shared opportunities that strengthens our local community.

Supporting our students every step of the way

Studying can be an exciting journey, but it can also come with challenges. Whether you’re balancing work, family, navigating long commutes, or trying to find your footing in a new learning environment, we are here for you.

You are not just a student here. You are part of a community that understands the ups and downs of studying, shares experiences, and cheers each other on every step of the way.

This is your space to focus, take a breath, and get the support you need, but also a place where you can connect, contribute, and shape what is around you.

Parents, local businesses, organisations, and community groups are welcome to get involved by sharing skills, offering placements, mentoring students, or creating opportunities that strengthen learning and connections across Inala. Together, we grow, learn, and thrive.

Centre Manager

Welcome to the Inala University Study Hub.

My journey through education taught me that everyone learns differently, and that's a strength. I grew because people along the way took the time to see who I was becoming. Their encouragement shaped my path and inspires how I now walk alongside students in their own journeys.

Now, after 18 years in Australian higher education and a PhD in Intercultural Communication and Cross-Cultural Psychology, I’ve built a career around helping others find their place and purpose. I’ve worked with students and communities across Australia and Southeast Asia, and I currently teach intercultural communication at university, a field that I am deeply passionate about and one that reminds me daily how much we can learn from one another.

As Manager of the Inala University Study Hub, my goal is simple: to make higher education feel possible, personal, and welcoming. Whether you’re figuring out your next step, juggling study and life, or just looking for a safe place to belong, I’m here to help. I see students as partners, not just participants, and I believe every story, every journey, matters.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, exploring culture, and soaking up Queensland’s beautiful beaches.
